Raymond Weil Celebrates the Iconic Beatles with their New Commemorative Watch

Raymond Weil has released the commemorative watch to end all commemorative watches. The brand has launched a watch paying homage to one of, if not, the greatest bands of all time – The Beatles. This release coincides with the brand's 40 ^th anniversary. I'll try my best to resist the urge to litter this article with Beatles' wordplay. No promises though.

The watch is officially called the Raymond Weil Maestro Beatles Limited Edition. As the name suggests, this model is limited in its production to 3,000 pieces worldwide. As a part of the Maestro collection, this timepiece is smaller than most others made by Raymond Weil, coming in at 39.5mm. Its flat demeanor (9.2mm), makes this an excellent watch for wear with a suit. The round, polished case features a simple push/pull main crown with the Raymond Weil logo. The snapped case back is exhibition styled using a smoked sapphire crystal with the official Beatles logo on it. Completing the aesthetics of this watch is the easily recognizable 5-piece stainless steel bracelet that the Maestro line is famous for. The bracelet is secured using a double deployant butterfly clasp with a dual safety release system.

The dial is a brushed, galvanic silver with applied indexes. What makes this bespoke special are the 13 album titles including a visual tribute to the Help album, which was released in 1965. The official Beatles logo comes just above the 6 position, giving the dial a balanced. The hands are crafted in black steel, and the date aperture can be found at 3 o'clock. Covering the dial is a sapphire crystal, which is highly scratch resistant.

Powering this well-crafted timepiece is a self-winding mechanical movement – caliber RW4200. This movement carries a power reserve of 38 hours. This Raymond Weil timepiece is rated water resistant to 50 meters or 165 feet (5 Bars).
